REACH
Information about the EU regulation on chemicals (REACH).
The new EU regulation on chemicals (REACH) came into effect on 1 June 2007. REACH is a European regulation and consequently immediately applies in all member states without it being converted into national legislation. The regulation affects the whole supply chain, making it important to establish suitable cooperation and communication with suppliers and customers, wherever this is required.
The following products are included in the registration and CLP-notification:

| FeSi | Cut wire shot |
| Chilled iron grit | Ceramic beads |
| Silicone carbide | Brown fused alumina |
| Pink fused alumina | Stainless steel shot |
The following organic blasting media are not subject to the REACH regulation:
Garnet, Glass Beads, Crushed Glass
